Top Marks for Front Desk + Restaurant Team

Team was amazing to find me a room late at night when my Holiday Inn left me without a room. Also the staff in the restaurant (Rene is it?) was extremely friendly and welcoming, the food was well prepared, and sometimes you can tell when the people working care about your experience being good/solid. I would love to stay here again sometime.

From what I'm told the hotel is older, which explains the minor things wrong with the room. The sink facet knobs leaked slighty when turned on, the window screen was damaged, the ac unit was squeeking when on and the bed was a little on the firmer side. Other than that room was clean, staff was nice and the location and view was amazing, right on the beach

The doubletree has a shuttle service that is limited to and reserve for their customers that are cruising, so the rest of their guest have to get their own transportation to and from where they go.

Our driver to the port was amazing! There were pubic hairs in the shower and on the toilet when we checked in. The lobby and outdoor patio needed updating. Pool area was disappointing. The staff was lovely.

Hilton brand hotels you can’t go wrong, they take pride in their hospitality. My wife and I had to walk out of the Port Side Inn do to unhealthy conditions. We arrived late in the evening just to stay for the night before we inbark on the cruise ship the next morning and the front desk clerk was so kind that he didn’t charge us for parking knowing that we were going to be there for less than 8hrs Thank you Double Tree

This review could have been avoided if the check-out clerk had asked one simple question: "How was your stay?" Instead, she only inquired about the room number I was checking out of and whether I needed a receipt. Her lack of interest in my experience was disheartening, so I let it go. I frequently stay at Double Tree hotels across the US, so I expected a standard Double Tree stay here. Unfortunately, that was not the case at all. Upon checking in and entering my room, I opened the fridge and was greeted by the sight of rust and what appeared to be black mold. I immediately called the front desk, and while they did bring another fridge up, they merely placed the new fridge next to my nightstand instead of replacing the contaminated one. To make matters worse, when I inspected the bedspread, I found a few spots that appeared to have plasma stains. Overall, this stay was far below the standard I have come to expect from Double Tree. It was an experience that left much to be desired, and I hope the hotel takes steps to address these issues for future guests.

Hotel was less than optimal! $354 for a room facing a VERY loud parking lot! Frankly not sure that this place would still exist without cruisers !!! Hotel restaurant opened at 4 pm with marginal food. Small store with slim pickings and overpriced selections! Would not advise this place to most!!

HAD A VERY PLEASANT STAY WITH YOU. CHECK IN WAS EASY AND THE SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT. I WAS OFFERED COFFEE EARLY IN THE AM (5AM) AS I WAS WAITING IN THE LOBBY FOR MY FRIEND. MUCH BETTER THAN THE ROOM COFFEE. NOT SURE OF THE NAME OF THE DESK PERSON AT THAT TIME. BUT GOOD JOB. ALSO HAD PLEASANT INTERACTION WITH ELIZABETH AT THE FRONT DESK DURING OUR STAY.
