This is located in a different building and area from the hotel, it is really an Airbnb. The email sent contained the wrong door code, the restaurant (which is downstairs and where they include an awesome breakfast) was very helpful. When I contacted the office they were quick to respond but instead of admitting they sent the wrong code they told me I was entering it wrong - I know the difference between the numbers 05 and 21! Just admit the mistake and I wouldn’t have felt the need to add it to a review! Room is fine, nothing special. As advertised it’s at the top of a building - 3 steep flights up. The roof terrace is in pretty rough shape with dead plants, broken privacy screens and mops and buckets around. But for the price it was good for one night. Location is ideal.

Loved our stay here! We were able to store our bags before check in which was a great perk. The room was great! The terrace was amazing and even had a view of the acropolis, which was awesome at night! They provide breakfast at the restaurant called Brunchers which was the best breakfast I had while in Europe!! The location is awesome with great access to the metro and in walkable distance to majority of the archeological sites! Would highly recommend this property!

Major stuff-up

When we arrived we were told that there had been a major stuff-up and the room that we had booked was not available. The staff went out of their way to provide a room an other hotel not too far away (of lower quality) and were very apologetic. But after traveling for 25 hours it wasn't great to be told that there was no room at the inn. Not sure if it was a Hotels.com stuff up or by the hotel itself, but not great.

Do NOT book here. The photos are very deceiving. Out the the 50 photos only about 5 are from the room itself the rest are from the lobby. And the photos of the room are cut off so you don't see the problems. The place is old, dirty, and falling apart. It also not a hotel which is what I was expecting. It's more like AirBnB. I don't know how they are listed on Expedia. I was not aware Expedia listed these properties. I don't know how they have a 4.2 star rating. Very disappointed. Place was a disaster with dirty mop, and other cleaning items placed randomly such as broom left in a corner which I suppose as a kitchenette/broom closet, toilet/mop&bucket room, washroom sink/toilet brush/cleaner holder. Place was dirty with thick dust and either Ikea furniture that was falling apart or 2 nd hand items that were picked up from the street after they were thrown out. After the 2nd day it started to smell like sewer water. I figured it would go away but after 2 days of dealing with the stench. I called Expedia to check out early. They agreed with me but the owner has yet to refund me the balance of the stay. Very unethical owner, does not answer phone or emails.To post a listing in this condition is fraud/false advertising. Once again, DO NOT BOOK HERE!

Good but 1 bad point in honesty of hotel staffs

About good points, the room was very wide and clean. and very near to many historical monuments and shopping area. And also the replies from the hotel staffs are very quick before and during my stays. About 1 bad point, I selected this apartment because the hotel staff explained to me that this building has the washing machine for clothes, but after starting my stays, they announced me that the washing machine can't be used because of COVID19. They should have explained to me about it before my stays.
