I'm not sure if I have ever loathed (hated) a hotel as much as this. Yes, location was perfect. Two beds. BUT: BLACK MOLD in the bathroom - GROSS and was NOT cleaned even when we complained multiple times; water did not drain so you're soaking your feet in the mold even for 2 minute shower; MULTIPLE large gross cockroaches; MUSTY/MILDEW smell every day; crazy LOUD on Friday night; gross OLD STRINGY towels; hardly any EU plugs; no water in the 'kitchen"... You get the idea..

I would not stay again-bed bugs Pros- airport shuttle was easily arranged, breakfast at the place downstairs was nice. When we arrived we noticed the apartment was lightly cleaned. One bathroom smelled so bad (maybe from the plumbing?) we couldn’t stand to use it. After the first night I noticed some itchy spots. The next day we had more spots and realized there was a bedbug problem. I reached out to the property but have yet to hear back. The shower was very difficult to figure out.

The pictures on Expedia were clearly taken maybe a couple of decades ago when this property was beautiful. I will see if I can attach pictures to show you how it looks now- the holes in the walls, the mold in the shower, unfortunately you can’t get a sense of how bad the room smelled, and we did have to kill a giant roach the first night there. The rooftop garden has been left to fall into decay, dead plants, rusty chairs, wood slats missing in places, the view is nothing pretty to look at, the furniture was mildewy and torn. The good things I can say about this is how helpful the person I was emailing at Concierge Athens was at booking my transport from the cruise ship to the location, and then from there back to the airport. Also, the breakfasts at Brunchers were wonderful.
They don’t want you to flush your toilet paper, but nobody emptied your trash the entire stay.

Loved our stay here! We were able to store our bags before check in which was a great perk. The room was great! The terrace was amazing and even had a view of the acropolis, which was awesome at night! They provide breakfast at the restaurant called Brunchers which was the best breakfast I had while in Europe!! The location is awesome with great access to the metro and in walkable distance to majority of the archeological sites! Would highly recommend this property!

Great Location and Restaurant, but Poor Maintenance! The location is phenomenal, right in the center of Athens, just a 15 min' walk from the Acropolis. The restaurant associated with the apartment building is a real highlight: delicious food, warm staff, and excellent service. Unfortunately, the apartment itself is poorly maintained. The sink is rusted and unpainted, the refrigerator door is broken (the plastic seal is coming off), and the water heater takes a long time to warm up, and once it does, it only lasts a few minutes in the shower. If the management improves the upkeep of the rooms, this place could be a gem. Until then, it’s a mixed experience.
