Second stay and the hotel is tired apart from the 9th floor pool, restaurant and bar. If you want breakfast on this floor you have to pay more or get a better room (which I wasn’t aware of as I had this free last time). It was busy and the lifts were always busy, so much so I used the stairs.

The room was great. The shower was a bit iffy in that it was a very narrow tub/shower. The door opened out making it difficult accessing. It would be great if the door was a slider. We have stayed here before so we knew the bathrooms were small. It is a great location with great amenities.

Was really excited about this hotel but it was a bit of a let down. Room was smaller and more run down than in the pictures. The first room we were given had an old smell but thankfully the staff were able to change our room with no hassle and the smell was gone. The pool area, rooftop bar and views are really what you are paying for and they were stunning. Pool area did get a bit crowded at times. The service upstairs was good, at times not overly friendly but they were busy. The area around the hotel is a bit grungy, although we did have a great dinner at Mironi which is nearby. A little loud outside at times, especially on the lower floors but was quiet after midnight. Probably would stay a bit closer to the city centre if I were to visit Athens again.

We Love The Stanley

Our stay at The Stanley Hotel was amazing! Check-in was smooth and welcoming, and we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade. The hotel itself is beautiful, with thoughtful amenities that truly set it apart. One of the highlights was the rooftop bar and restaurant—everything we tried was fresh and absolutely delicious, with stunning views to match. The location is also perfect, with the metro literally around the corner, making it easy and cost-effective to get anywhere in the city. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be staying here again on our next visit to Greece.
