Melia Barajas was convenient, and the shuttle service to the airport was perfect. We only stayed for one night, but it will be an excellent choice on another occasion.

The shuttle service was awful. Waited on curb at MAD pickup point for 40 minutes. The bus was 10 minutes late and then we sat for another 10 minutes. The driver was very unfriendly and not the least bit helpful. He drove so fast that bags were flying all over the stowage area hitting the door. He never made an announcement on where next stop was. When we reached Alameda Hotel, everyone got off thinking it was the Barajas Hotel. 1/2 had to rebound because they weren’t staying there. He made no mention of which hotel we were at. He needs to find a different job !

Wonderful, brief stay!

The Meliá was an absolutely beautiful hotel; if I ever stay in Madrid again, I would choose the Melia. Wonderful staff, room and breakfast buffet. *I was not happy with the shuttle upon arriving in Madrid; the driver was not at all helpful to the guests. However, the hotel was so clean and comfortable, I cannot say enough.
