Very attentive staff fluent in English, which was very helpful for me. My room was great. Had a little porch attached to it. The rooftop was fantastic a magnificent view of the city. Again, compliments to the staff, especially at the front desk the doorman the person who help with my luggage. Everyone was great. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet, but one complaint would be that the crowds of people seemed a little chaotic. Everyone was going in their own direction and there should have been an orderly flow.

Elevators take forever to get anywhere, pool is extremely small, bedding wasn't changed, just the beds were made, entrance and exits hard to follow, we were a guest at the hotel and we could only come and go through certain doors, the check-in process took forever, breakfast was not good, overall just not a great experience for a RIU.

Superb hotel

Super hotel in a great location , plaza de espana .Various historic places are easily accessible, also restaurants and great stores . The hotel has a great rooftop bar , possibly the best in Madrid ,called 360 . Its a buzzing place with excellent food and drink . There is a rooftop. pool which is a great advantage especially in summer when temperatures were in 30s . Breakfast is well organised by a team of efficient staff . The choice of food / drink is amazing . I thoroughly enjoyed my break at this hotel .

I booked this hotel not only on a local’s recommendation for its rooftop 360° terrace, but also as a romantic gesture for my partner by choosing somewhere more high-end. Unfortunately, as a hotel guest, my experience fell far below expectations. Throughout my three-night stay, I was repeatedly asked to prove I was a guest each time I entered or exited the building. Staff would stop us with the same question: “Are you a guest, or just here for the terrace?” and often required us to show our physical room key before letting us in. As two female travelers, being questioned so persistently and at times denied entry until showing proof was not only frustrating but also unwelcoming and unsafe. Adding to the disappointment, when we invited a family member who lives in Madrid to dine with us at the hotel restaurant, we were refused entry at the main door and told to use a back entrance through a side street. This treatment was uncomfortable and frankly disrespectful. While the rooftop terrace does offer nice views, it was extremely crowded and felt more like a tourist attraction than an amenity for hotel guests. Overall, hospitality and service were far below what I’ve experienced at hotels across Europe and the Americas. The administration should reconsider how they manage the distinction between terrace visitors and actual hotel guests. As paying guests, we felt overlooked, unwelcome, and undervalued.

This hotel is very central in Madrid. It has a small but nice pool and gym. Fantastic rooftop views. The breakfast in very good with many options. Great service from check in to check out. Rooms are modern, quiet and comfortable. We would stay here again
