Almost everything I needed. Quiet. Easy walk to restaurants, train station, Park Connection Bus and Tony Knowles Coastal Paved Trail. Friendly and helpful front desk staff. No microwave or fridge in room though.

I liked the fact that this lodging is near restaurants, shopping and I found that there is a "trail" near by which is beautiful. The bed was comfortable and the room was nice. Breakfast was a bit to be desired, so we actually did not eat at the hotel.

The room was nice. Clean and comfortable. The Continental Breakfast consisted of coffee cake, muffins, and toast. Jelly and peanut butter was served in community bowls and cream cheese in a slab on a plate. Corn flakes also available in a large open, help yourself bowl. Coffee, tea, milk and 3 juices bananas and mandarin oranges were available. No hot dishes. Snack machines were not working on my floor and nobody were aware until I told them on second day there. Apparently they had been unplugged and never plugged in again. I was told that they could not make change for a $5 bill at the front desk. For most part, I thought the prrsonnel, with the exception of one young lady, were not very friendly or helpful. My biggest complaint was the surprise charge for parking of $40 per night that you don't find out until you ask for a parking permit. It is in a downtown area with public transportation available via bus. There were art galleries across the street and also a pub. As it is in a downtown area, I recommend traveling in small groups for safety. Both the parking and hotel are handicap accessible. Last comment, this was one of the lesser costing hotels, but with parking fee it made it more costly than expected.

The bed was unmade in our room, furniture worn, bad odor in lobby. “Fitness room” has 2 treadmills and nothing else. Beverage machine out of water, ice only on even floors. Staff are friendly but not enough to make up for poor cleanliness and aging facility

No refrigerator or microwave Very old building. Bathroom area stunk the whole time like old building. And when we did finally get a refrigerator on the last day. It stunk like fish. Super noisy area. If we left the patio door open we couldn’t sleep it was so loud

Patio door was broken snd left only 1/2 roll of toilet paper for 2day stay. Were helpful on parking options important because parking on site is very expensive ($40 a day). Great location to downtown and amazing Orso restaurant.

Front desk person was engaged in an argument on the phone a guest who was telling her that they checked in and the room they were given wasn’t clean or ready for them. The front desk person shouted and argued with the guest. It was shocking to hear as we were waiting to check in. The hotel is older and hasn’t been updated, room very dark, peeling wallpaper, seems shabby. Homeless couple on a bench next to entrance of hotel at night. Attitude of front person was hostile,aggressive. Did feel safe to remain there.
