Great property, convenient location

The property was probably the best equipped rental that I have stayed. Arild has thought of everything and more. Clean, well furnished and in a convenient location: metro and supermarket round the corner, trams a short walk and right by the Amstel river with a lovely neighbourhood vibe. It was a pleasure to stay there. Communication with Arild was excellent throughout and he was very accommodating.

Hi ArildSorry for the delay in sending you a review of our stay in your VRBO. Definitely a 5 star stay. The beds were comfortable, the space was very clean, gezellig and spacious. You provided everything anyone would want or need. The location was perfect, close to food shopping yet away from crowds and easy to get around. We particularly like the information sheets you had available. Your space is perfect for long or short term stays. Should we need a place to stay again in Amsterdam, we will be in contact. Many thanks, glad we found your little gem!

Better than I could have imagined!

I was a little worried because the owner was new to VRBO, but I am so glad I booked this place! It was a lovely place in what I would say is a pretty darn perfect location! The units are in a little alcove right on the river. Newish to Amsterdam, I didn't understand how lovely the river is - it's wonderful for pedestrians and bikers! Also, walking up the river takes you right to the central part of the city - you'll get there in about 25 minutes! I went with my 19-year-old daughter (which worked out great) and we explored the areas between the apartment and the central city on both sides of the river - which includes a lot of the areas where you'd want to explore such as the Jewish Quarter and de Pijp. In addition, there is a wonderful little cafe / restaurant right there called the Greek Embassy with ample outdoor seating for nice days. AND, the subway is right around the corner too! If all that were't enough, Arild did a nice job stocking the place with coffee pods (yay!) plus a few bottles of water and beer (Yay!). The beds were comfortable and the hot water was hot with good pressure - not always the case in Europe! We couldn't have been happier. Thanks for having us!
