Staff were able to check us in early, and the room was clean, quiet, cool and comfortable - I slept brilliantly! The airport shuttle was easy to arrange and reasonably priced. The tram to the city centre is just a short walk away. There were only two relatively minor downsides: 1) We ordered the 'Cheers for Beers' package at an extra cost, which was described as 'two bottles of IJwit and a nutmix' to be delivered to the room. Instead, we received two bottles of Heineken (no nutmix). 2) It was impossible to contain water within the shower cubicle, which meant a very soggy towel on the floor throughout our stay. Regardless, we enjoyed our stay and would return.

Stay was for 5 nights…Check in didn’t happen until 30 mins after the check in scheduled time. Thankfully they are able to hold your luggage. When i came back they said they were checking the room to make sure it was ready… not sure what kind of quality check they do because i found an empty soda coke zero bottle under the bed …i dont drink that … it was of the previous guest.. also they messaged me offering to clean my room not once but twice to which i agreed and both times no one came.?? Why offer the cleaning service and then not clean the room? Overall it was an ok stay.. they need to stick to their word and not overpromise things if they cant deliver.

Great hotel, right next to Rembrandt park which me and my partner liked walking through, not far from tram stops so really easy to get into amsterdam city centre, hotel offer airport transfers too and from the hotel which is very convenient, price was quite reasonable around £17 us two. Very nice clean hotel and would definitely stay again

It was a comfortable stay that suited us fine but definitely found a couple images on the listing misleading which we were surprised when we arrived - it is definitely not on a canal and is a good hours walk from the town centre. So definitely check the map for that.

Very dark in a room, cleaning was done only around elevator entrance space, pieces of paper were beside my room for few days. Breakfast on 17 floor has limited choices and overcooked eggs. Shuttle bus charge was not free even through it was free on web .Front staff was helpful at least .

Overall 5/10. The staff were rude and always looked extremely miserable to speak to you if you were a tourist. The room we stayed in had a hair ball by the mirror. There were people smoking outside the hotel (not cigarettes) right near the entrance so you’re blown away with the smell right away. We requested cleaning and we did not receive any. Only decent thing is that the hotel had a lovely smell when you walked in- made the bed & underneath the mattress was a horrible dirty stain that looks like it had been rotting for ages. Was very unpleasant.

The hotel is calm and close to tram stop. The staff were polite but some of them rude. Had a doubt on tram station and route to atraction. When asked he said refer to google maps. Can't explain everything. I booked a queen bed but was given two single beds . It took them three days to sort it.

We stayed at this hotel back in 2019 and had a great stay. So much so that we decided to stay here again (December 2024) on this trip to Amsterdam. We will NOT be staying here again and here’s why. Upon entering our room, we noticed no tissue paper in the bathroom and no refrigerator in the room. Our friend in a different room did not have a functioning safe and her hair dryer was broken. She requested the hair dryer be fixed at the front desk and it never got fixed even though they said they would. There’s a small sign in the room that tells you you have to order room cleaning or towel replacement by scanning a QR code. This is all in the name of being environmentally friendly. The site says you can schedule cleaning or towel service for multiple days, but we found that we could only do it on the morning of and they require that you do it before a specific time (the sign and the site have different deadlines…). This is a total inconvenience. The default should be room cleaning with an option to opt out of the service. On the first day we ordered the towel service only and when returned at night found that the service was not done. While showering in the morning, we noticed hot water would run out in the middle of showering. Leonardo Hotel Rembrandtpark on the surface presents itself as a high end trendy hotel. But the reality is it falls short in the details where a pleasant experience really matters.
