Although I furnished a medical certificate and hospital report to say I had under gone emergency surgery and was unable to travel, the hotel charged me for the 5 nights I had booked even though it was a pay on arrival booking. I would have been happy for them to have held a credit for a stay in the future after I recover but that was not extended either. Whilst in hospital I was not well enough to be thinking about the trip I was meant to be going on in 8 days and my husband was overseas on business so I had no one taking care of of other commitments. Wotif did try to help but the hotel again just said that they had a strict cancellation policy. Beware, if you book this hotel to read the fine print because if you are unable to travel for whatever reason they will not show any leniency
