The locker in the room was not working - we requested at least 4-5 times to get that repaired but it was not repaired. The toilet was not cleaned the first day . The soap bottle was empty and was not filled all through our stay . Majority of the staff was good but one of them basically told us to read the amenities properly when we asked about coffee in the room .

It was very modern, but I lost my wallet on my way to Amsterdam so I couldn't buy anything as everything was credit card... No water or food available without. Nothing in room I could charge to my room or order, including a phone to ask for towels or soap as the entire room was empty bottles. Depending on which side you're on your directly facing the train station so it can loud.

Pleasantly surprised

Overnight stay on business where i needed to be close to Centraal Station. Many years since I've stayed in an Ibis and very pleasantly surprised. Rooms were comfortable and clean, and relatively quiet overnight on front of hotel, despite proximity to Damrak / Red light area. Thanks, recommended

Nothing special about this hotel. Tiny rooms and bathrooms. I was traveling by myself and was tripping over myself. Couldn't imagine sharing that room with another person. Absolutely no thrills at this hotel, no streaming capability on TV so you're stuck watching local TV which much of ut is in Dutch. It's saving grace is it's location. Walking distance to De Wallen, right next to the Central Station so easy access to public transit and other trains. If you're only staying a night or 2 and have to catch an early train, it does the job. Bit if you're staying for multiple nights, I'd consider something else.

Avoid!

It was awful. Bathroom and toilet walls were disgusting and had bogeys etc on them. We had a room on the first floor and it was at train track level, so people could see into the room and whenever a train came, it blocked all the light in the room. The trains also sat right outside the window all night with lights on which kept us awake as it basically felt like it was daytime. Lockers for bags were a plus except you had to pay for them. The only positive was that the kids liked their bunk beds.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly. One thing to note is that Uber pick up cannot be scheduled right outside the hotel. You have to walk to a pick up point about half a kilometer away.
