Everything about the hotel is delightful - the reception, the rooms, the staff. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable, excellent wifi and all those useful touches in the room - fridge, iron and board, tissues, sewing kit. The location is calm and peaceful with cafes, restaurants and shops around the corner as well as transport to the main centre very close if walking isn’t for you. Excellent value. Highly recommend.

The staff was excellent. They were multi-lingual and assisted us with making restaurant reservations, calling taxis, and giving advice and directions to various attractions. The room was nice and clean, the breakfast room and bar were attractive and quiet. There is a courtyard patio as well. Oh, lots of hot water for showers. The location was good. The street is fairly quiet but close to a tram stop, excellent shops and restaurants. The stairs are steep but they have a lift which is useful when carrying luggage.

What a delightful, gorgeous, spacious hotel. Each rooms were different and tastefully decorated. It was very clean and had everything we needed, in one of our rooms we even had a stove and oven. The staff were the most friendly and helpful professionals. Would love to stay here again.

Everything about the hotel stands out - tasteful decor, rich carpeting and furniture, a most cozy room and a great bar and breakfast dining area. Nice neighborhood too. The abundance of images of Greek gods, notably Apollo himself, throughout the hotel, makes for an inquisitive review of Greek mythology.

Hotel and room was clean and staff were pleasant. I personally liked the quaint feel of the hotel…Room was small… but expected as this is Amsterdam where space is at a premium …not North America. Would stay here again!

We had the most amazing stay. The staff could not have been more helpful. It was great being in a more residential area with a choice of cafes and restaurants, and just 15 minutes from the airport or centre. The blackout curtains and the resultant sleep was much appreciated. Also, I have never stayed in a hotel where we've had the do not disturb sign on and they've left a bag of clean towels, toilet roll, and refreshment refills for us. So thoughtful. Even the free apples were extra yummy. We will be back

I travel extensively and can not say what an exceptional experience this hotel stay was. From correspondence prior to the trip, to superb breakfast that should not be missed, all aspects are top self. Due to our sleep schedule, we passed on house keeping several days and their personable staff still brought us fresh linens and coffee each day. Each shift at the front desk was personable and offered reliable assistance. My trip was superb, not just because Amsterdam is a wonderful city, but the kindness, warmth, and friendliness made it memorable.

A wonderful stay. My second time at this lovely hotel. Sam makes sure that needs are met at breakfast, making it a welcoming space to start the day. Hotel team is always attentive to needs. Stay at this hotel when you are in Amsterdam!!
