The location is super convenient! A bit far from the city center but you have all public transportation options literally outside the hotel, so just plan ahead time-wise. All of the staff was really attentive, we arrived a bit early and were kindly assigned a room right away. Breakfast doesn’t have many options, but it’s tasty and a good way to start your day. Taking a star off just because the rugs are a bit dirty, and mainly because our shower had a constant leak and when using it the water would randomly go from super hot to super cold so it was quite uncomfortable to shower.

The hotel building itself is just ok but the area around it is a disaster. Lots of sketchy people from the dark continent hanging out right in front of ther hotel until all hours of the night yelling and playing loud music on portable speakers making passersby feel uncomfortable.I wont be staying there again. Also, the set up was strange, you accessed you room from the main floor but reception was on the second floor so there was no security at all at the entrance floor, I came in one night to see a homeless guy sleeping in the corner of the elevator lobby. Do youself a favour and spend the extra money to stay in Centrum. At least the sketchy people there have some charcter.

We were offered a free drink for the first day to have no cleaning in our room because the hotel was full. We didn’t receive any cleaning the whole 4 days despite being told it was only for 1 day. Charged 6 euros to store our bags, never had to pay for this service in any other hotel. It seems like a busy hotel constantly trying to save on costs

I frequent Holiday Inn when i travel. Staff was super helpful and friendly. The hotel location is perfect. Right next to the train station and tram lines. Food around the hotel is a little bit limited but you can walk or take the train to any where. Only thing I did not like was the people standing near the revolving door entrance of floor 0 it made us feel unsafe. Besides that the experience was great, I would definitely come back.

Overall property was good, but our first day checkin experience was not. The girl was very rude. When I asked some questions about room amenities, she replied what do you expect it’s Holiday Express not some 5 star and said , what you pay you get. Management need to take this kind of attitude and behaviour with customers seriously.
