Nice place. It was a very pleasant place. Just what we needed.

Showed up after check in at 4pm, and the front door was unlocked and unlatched. Walked in, and the place was still dirty from the last guests. The host came and cleaned after I called, and promised a gift card for the trouble. The host never came back with the gift card and didn't respond to texts asking about it. There were no forks anywhere in the VRBO, and all pots, pans, cups, and spoons needed to be washed before first use. This was my first VRBO stay, and likely my last.

Can't say I can recommend this one. Host wasn't very responsive, the place didn't have a single roll of toilet paper and no coffee mugs (even though it had a coffee maker). The pull-out futon was broken, the toilet seat wasn't attached to the bowl, the backyard was a mud pit, they didn't set up our access code properly and we were locked out of the house momentarily. Will NOT come back to this one.

Quaint and cozy duplex unit that has been updated. Interior was clean and bright and decorated in a neat MCM vibe. This area has been going through considerable transition in a very positive manner, and was nice too see that the community is working together to make this historical part of the city - updated and vibrant again. The only item that I would suggest is a lower bed frame, the bed was a bit difficult to get into and out of - however it was very comfortable! We also enjoyed the fact that there was a full kitchen with adequate cooking items, and we did utilize them during our visit. Central location with fairly easy access (some one way streets to navigate) and very good off-street parking. We recommend this unit, should be you in the Amarillo area.
