Second time staying here while fishing in the area. Another great stay at the Tailwater and already have plans to come back this winter. Staff are all genuinely nice and everyone does their jobs well.

The property was very pretty. Had issues with the shower not getting hot and our room was near a large party that was quite loud but at least they settled down toward the end of the night. There’s really not much to do and see in the area unless you’re a fisherman kinda person. We were there to visit friends so stayed overnight to explore the area so probably will not go again. The only thing cool there to us was Lake Ontario. We ended up driving an hour to the St. Lawrence River to tour Boldt Castle and that area instead.

The restaurant was wonderful. Our waitresses, Takayla was outstanding! All the staff were friendly and courteous. The two rooms we were given needed maintenance. The first the ac wasn't working. The second the toilet and shower had issues. We were offered a 3rd room. My expectations for the hotel were very high. Very disappointed.

This place is stunning and big!! Very safe, everything is locked but easily accesible with your room key card and the parking lot is well lit. Located right on the salmon river, they have a walkway to it for guest use which is very pretty! It's about 2 hours from the Adirondacks, depending where you're going. They have a fire pit and free smores kits and cornhole games for guest use. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and so clean! Every staff member I encountered were so kind and helpful!! I'll definitely be back!
