IMPORTANT PRICING INFORMATION: The site’s default nightly instant rate is for booking both Guadalupe House with its 5 bedrooms/3 baths, which accommodates 12 persons plus the adjacent Cottonwood House with its 4 bedrooms/2.5 baths (accommodating 10 more persons). Compound is in the beautiful Albuquerque valley near the Rio Grande. You will stay in a charming, safe, gated historic multi acre family compound with traditional NM pueblo style. This compound, featuring three adjoining guest houses, is a tranquil oasis with the easiest of access to Albuquerque’s many special sights and charms. Guadalupe House features an expansive open-concept central kitchen-dining-living great room, with ready access to outdoor spaces. Adjacent Cottonwood House, only 50 feet away, offers 4 bedrooms/2.5 baths, with a full separate kitchen, laundry room and patio.
These houses are fully stocked with 100% cotton bed linens and towels, complete sets of dishes, flatware, glassware, cookware, and many small appliances, ranging from hair dryers to toasters to food processors (and more). Stroll the peaceful grounds, enjoy the garden areas and century-old trees, view the traditional irrigation ditch (“acequia”) that still runs through the compound. Or just enjoy the outdoors from the comfort and convenience of two patios and multiple sitting areas, a lighted pergola, and two gas BBQ grills. All of that and a 30 foot x 30 foot mini basketball court, a six person hot tub and a fire pit. The three houses, booked as a package, are perfect for families or groups up to 26 persons.

People who visit this restful compound find it hard to believe that such a tranquil setting, filled with tall, stately trees and an ancient acequia, could be so close to the bustling city of Albuquerque. Our family had a wonderful stay at this gated compound! It is a perfect place for a family reunion, with great kitchens and lots of outdoor spaces where children can play. Ernie was an attentive host who went above and beyond to make our stay successful, even purchasing a high chair when we needed it. Many thanks to Ernie for a great vacation. Highly recommend!

Fabulous family reunion site

We held a six-day family reunion at the Guadalupe Compound and it was wonderful. The property and the four houses were great. They were all so delightfully and regionally decorated with fantastic artwork and fun decor. The setup is great for large gatherings because there are two great rooms with kitchens where everyone can congregate, but there is also plenty of space to disperse to for quiet and privacy. What was really nice about this facility compared to other rentals for large gatherings was the number of individual bedrooms and baths. Many large facilities have four to eight beds in a single room, which is fine for kids but this was much nicer for adults, with more private bedrooms and bathrooms. Also, for the older generation, this was all one story with very few steps and several low step-in showers. The host/owner really went out of his way to provide so many accoutrements that made it easy and fun to cook, socialize and relax. Plenty of books, games, and music to keep folks entertained. Lots of outdoor space to sit and enjoy the weather and the beautiful grounds. Overall, I would highly recommend Guadalupe Compound for a large gathering of people who want to socialize together, but don't necessarily want to all sleep in the same "bunkhouse".

The house and property were perfect for our family. Spacious and clean. The house had all of the amenities that we needed. Our host was amazing! I have rented many vacation homes and his customer service went above and beyond! Thank you for a wonderful stay! I would rent this home again and recommend it to anyone traveling to the area!

Relaxing, Hospitable Space!

We enjoyed a board retreat at the Guadalupe Compound. The space was beautiful with plenty of seating and a great kitchen set up. We had access to a hot tub, fire pit, grill, and many outdoor spaces to meet and talk. Our host was very communicative, ensuring we had everything we needed each day. We will definitely come back again!
