"Lovely B&B close to the main town!"
The owner contacted us on the day of arrival to see when we were arriving so that they could have everything ready and assist with anything. The room was wonderful and the bed very comfortable. The ensuite was great and the living area had lovely d├ęcor. Loved that it was close to the main street shops and could walk there. Definitely recommend it to everyone!

"Great room and fantastic location."
Very nice Deluxe Spa Room had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. This is in a great location and you can walk to all of the shops and the beautiful Mercato restaurant which is just around the corner and up the hill a bit. Ziggy makes you feel very welcome. We would definitely stay again next time we visit Daylesford.

"Comfort, class, excellence"
Nothing was a bother. An excellent experience from the first moment. Booking was for 3 nights but prolonged my stay an extra 3 nights. Cafe downstairs for breakfast with an abundance to choose from and a la carte restaurant open most days to treat the taste buds. The rooms are amazing with attention to detail for relaxation and comfort. 12 rooms with different themes. I've tried 2 and will be back to try the other 10 in the future. Holidays can't come soon enough.

"Well situated, close to main shopping area."
This is not a modern motel. It is a heritage building, a period house adapted to accommodate guests. In this context our overnight stay was very different and pleasurable. The furniture and decor is eclectic in its combination. E.g. Very comfortable bed, period furniture, but fully appointed en suite, heated rooms, television and wifi. I guess the test of satisfaction and enjoyment comes with the question: "Having stayed there previously would we stay gain?". Yes. We would definitely choose The Albert as a preferred accommodation.

"Great location and town views"
From the outside you see a beautiful old building with somewhat overgrown gardens, however step inside and your breath is taken away. The green room is quaint and extremely comfortable with an open fire and wood provided. Our package included a bottle of sparkling wine on arrival and continental style breakfast. Later in the evening when we lit the fire we were surprised to find a decanter with a nice Port included also. We highly recommend the Manse and we will definitely go back again. Next time you are in Daylesford "Do yourself a favour" and stay at the Manse.

"Cosy comfort close to town centre"
We enjoyed a delightful 2 night stay, the room was warm and toasty on arrival, the bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in! We stayed in the old part of the Inn, and even though it faced the main road, traffic noise was barely noticeable! All the shops, cafes and restaurants were within easy walking distance. Definitely stay there again!

    Pocket Guide: Daylesford

Stay in our Daylesford accommodation and enjoy this scenic resort town, which boasts Australia's highest concentration of natural mineral springs. The architecture and gardens of the town have a distinctively European feel due to the high Italian and Swiss populations during the 1800s gold rush.

Relax and unwind, while staying in our Daylesford accommodation, there is plenty to see and do. Visit Lake Daylesford, which boasts mineral springs, walking tracks and BBQ areas, hire a canoe and explore the wildlife sanctuary of Jubilee Lake, take a walk around the gorge and fern-lined creek at Sailor's Falls, take a trip to the Mt Franklin Recreation Reserve and see an extinct volcano, or use our Daylesford accommodation as a base to visit the mineral spa resort town of Hepburn Springs, just five minutes from town.

Soak in local history, while staying in our Daylesford accommodation, by visiting the Historical & Cultural Museum; featuring Aboriginal artefacts and relics of the pioneer days or the Wombat Hill Botanical Gardens; established in 1863 atop an extinct volcano. The Gardens boasts beautiful views of the town, rare trees, a fernery and an award winning begonia display in February-March and a lookout tower. See the displays of photographs, clothing and Aboriginal artefacts at the Daylesford Historical Society Museum housed in the old School of Mines, built in 1890, and next door is the old primary school, built in 1874.
