Room was fine for the cost.
Shared showers needed maintenance, as lights wouldn’t work, and water pressure was questionable.

We liked that we were close to services we needed during our stay.
I would have liked a bigger shower area, I bent down to get shampoo and whacked my head on shower handle. Or maybe im too big??? Hehe.

Reception welcome was wonderful. Top marks.
Entry foyer very tired.
We had to wash down our bathroom bench as it had large sticky rings on it.
Really dirty ironing board cover.
Surprised at now no breakfast option.
We had been regular guests before moving to Wellington 8 years ago, and were amazed in the difference in that time.
We needed to leave at 5.15 am for an early start, and we had to try 3 times to get the front door button to open for us.

The room was nicely appointed, large and clean. We loved the balcony. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was great-very close to the beach and also a nice shopping area with lots of good restaurants.
