Room almost clean (very good bed and clean) awefull from towels point of view. You have two towels day two and no one to change them. I imagine that is included in the supplementary 25 CH required when you ask room cleaning. Nobody answers e-mails. Nobody to guide you in a way or another. I am not recommending this hotel for more than 2 nights in a row.

This is ideal location, easy to walk to bus stop, tram stop and city centre. We only wanted a basic room to sleep in and you literally have a clean and comfortable bed - slightly firm and a TV. Plugs and usb for charging, a hair dryer but no kettle. Ensuite and it was clean alothough intermittent drain smell but did not bother us. Easy check in and out. Would use again

Super basic, super clean.

Super basic, just like the pics on their ads, clean as, easy self check in. We had the family room in the loft and because of the sloped roof couldn’t sit up in bed to watch tv, didn’t help that there wasn’t a chair other than a tiny stool for the tiny desk. Only 3 coat hooks for 4 towels and considering room servicing is extra per night they could at least help you dry your own towels for reuse. Water pressure was awesome all good there!

Convenient as cheap for a weekend stay, and the bed/shower facilities were adequate for the purpose. However it was summer in Zurich, there is no air conditioning only a collection of desk fans left on each floor by the lift, if you miss out you don't have one. My fan broke on night 2 and I had zero sleep due to needing to window open and constant noise from properties opposite, with people partying on rooftops until 4am, which is when I left after no sleep to get the train to the airport.

easyHotel is self check in at a digital kiosk, so everything worked for us. The room is very tiny and the bathroom looked like a closet. But this is affordable in Zurich, where other hotels are outrageous, in peak summer. Its very convenient, just a short walk to the train station, but situated on a very busy and noisy street.

A basic orange hotel

This place is no frills. Somewhere between a hostel and a hotel. It was clean and functional. My main gripe was that the partition for the bathroom was made of frosted glass, so if anyone in the family went to the loo at night, the whole room was lit up as if if they turned all the lights on. The shower drain was a bit damp smelling. On the positive side, easy check in, every bed had a USB port, good location near the station and an ALDI where you could get cheap sandwiches etc (Zurich is outrageously expensive!)

This hotel is close to the "terrible" side of ''poor'. It lists itself as "basic' but even with a basic hotel, you would expect there to be plugs which enable you to charge your phone, water from the shower that does not flood the bathroom, no air-conditioning only small, inadequate fans, and somewhere to sit other than the bed. The self-service check-in was easy enough, but there did not seem to be any staff to deal with these problems. easyhotel is one of the cheaper hotels in an expensive city, but it's probably better to spend a little more to get a good night's sleep.

Overall, the room is clean and the bed is comfortable. The hotel is in good location. There are lots of restaurants around, the nearest tram stop is just 2 mins away, and the main train station and city centre is just about 5-10 mins walk. It is self-check in which is actually pretty straight forward. You can call the number provided in the lobby if you need assistance but make sure you have call credits for Switzerland, hehe. The only downside is that there is no air-conditioning which we needed since our visit is during summer, though they provided a mini fan but still a bit hot - gets a little bit cooler during the night though. There are no cabinets for your things/clothes as well.

Location was close to rail station, checking in was a myriad of computer work, no personnel to assist as there were a few people in front of me trying to work out how to check in, the cost was overpriced, the A/C unit was noisy and didn't want to blow cold so had to get a fan from the hallway communication between myself and owner was lowsy, personally I won't be staying there again.
Room wasn't the same as the booking form and being on the roof level was very warm and uncomfortable 🥵

Noisy, uncomfortable. Barely slept

It sounded like there was a daycare or a gym above our room. Thumping and running around as late at midnight and then again at 7am. This building is not suited as a hotel. You hear everything. The bed was rock hard. The doors from The stairs aren’t soft close so anytime anyone goes in or out of the hallway you hear a loud SLAM. No amenities whatsoever so good luck if you need to keep something cold in a fridge overnight or need anything during your stay. No one is there and they don’t answer emails. It was clean but that was it. Way too expensive for what you get, especially if you planned on sleeping through the night.
