My experience was absolutely terrible. This is a hole in the wall kind of hotel. It’s self-check in, but it felt pretty neglected and unsafe. I was approached by someone who just told me the elevator was not working and would help me with my luggage. The person was not wearing a uniform, didn’t introduce themselves, so it could have been another guest acting as someone working there. I felt uneasy and didn’t feel safe. I left 10 minutes after check in and decided to spend the night at the airport. I would never go back.

Maid waking us up with knocking over an hour before checkout? Then coming again 2 more times before checkout? Absolutely ridiculous behavior Other than that it’s a dirty cheap hotel in the middle of zurich. If you’re cheap and just want a bed it will probably do, if you want something that treats guests with respect go elsewhere

If I could give this hotel zero stars, or a zero rating, I would. I never bother leaving reviews for hotels because as long as they’re good, I have no concerns. This hotel however, warranted a review as I believe everyone should know what they’re getting into here. While in an ideal location, the hotel itself is nothing to talk about. It is staff less, as there is not a single hotel employee onsite. You check in and out using a computer at the front. If you have any issues, you have to send an email and hope someone will answer at an appropriate time. If someone does, and that person isn’t Jay, good luck getting any decent customer service. The staff are quite frankly, rude. The only saving grace of my stay was Jay, who was the only one employee worth writing about. Now onto the issues of the room itself - the pictures online depict a nice clean space however upon check in, I was met with the most cramped, disgusting bathroom I have ever seen. It is right next to your toilet, so you’re basically showering with a toilet. There is also no separation so ladies, if you have your period, good luck with that washroom. The sink doesn’t drain, the hooks fall off, and you barely have any space to move. I also had stains on my sheets from night one, which I’ve never experienced in staying at 100+ hotels. If you complain, they’ll accuse you of trying to get money and tell you to get out. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. TDLR: STAY AWAY!

Convenient to the Zurich main station and only 10 in walk to the river and then on to the old town. It is a basic hotel but the rooms are clean and cozy. Sound proofing is an issue as you can hear everything from the room next door and the hall ways and we were woken a few times. The lack of on site staff means that little things like not having enough pillows can't be addressed. The little desk area was cute but the stool impractical to sit at for any period of time. A few little changes could make the experience much better but it was fine for what it was. As advertised would be a good description.
