Night in a caboose

Its a don't check-in in person. You receive a text when the unique experience. We stayed in the caboose. It big enough, quiet, and nicely furnished. The bed was very comfortable with nice linens. Everything was very clean. Also, the location is great! Note: you do not check-in in person. You receive a text when your railcar is ready, with a code to open the door and a phone # if you need assistance. As we had no problems, we found this to be very easy.

Great unique rooms

Great location. Cozy room with enough space for us and our portable crib. Unique idea of the rail cars as room. Would definitely stay here again. Walking distance to great restaurants. If you are a light sleeper you might hear the hot air balloons being filled and lifted at around 530-6 am. Very cool to look at though!

I liked the nice clean room and bathroom. The a/c in the room was noisy though. Within easy walking distance to many restaurants and nice area to take a stroll outside.

Utterly charming accommodations and a very comfortable bed. Surprise and delight with the hot air balloons taking off from the lot next door. A perfect placed to enjoy Napa!

Very well placed quaint hotel in the heart of Yountville. The train car rooms are authentic and cosy. We saw hot air balloons being filled and flown away early in the morning from the carpark near the hotel!

This place is adorable! The rail cars are clean and comfortable and roomier than l thought they would be. The location is ideal, literally just steps away from downtown Yountville. Truly a gem!

Napa Valley Railway Inn is in the heart of Yountville, a very short walk from some of the finest restaurants in Northern CA. Clean, comfortable, quaint rooms in converted rail cars.
