Lovely hotel. Brilliant location.
Lovely warm welcome by reception. Room was right at the top, spiral staircase (not for the faint hearted). Room was small, cosy, warm & clean. Unfortunately parking doesn't come free, which is the case with most hotels in York now. Good full English breakfast which set you up for the day. Have stayed here before & would definitely stay again. Highly recommend!

We both loved the Georgian hotel, for the price an fantastic location. Everything was within walking distance, we didnt need the car once to get around. The staff were so friendly and pleasant. Hugely recommend the full english breakfast it set you up for the day. We would 2 million percent stay here again. Thanks for having us Alan an staff we will definitely be back from Sam an Micky Young xx

Great place
We planned trip with some friends. Everything went smoothly. Staff are so helpful and friendly. Our rooms were great. Spacious. Very clean. Nice touch like water and prosecco when we arrived. We only wished we had booked breakfast also as it looked very nice when we seen others.

Good location
Nice place in the centre of york, perfect for my one night stay. Quick walk away from the train station and all main attractions. I had booked a single room but was given a double because the hotel was not fully booked. The room was clean and comfortable however in need of little tlc. Staff were friendly and breakfast is available for extra charge. I would stay again.

Located very near to the town centre - with lots of food options and a supermarket nearby. York Monster is a short walk away. The single room is "compact" but fine if it's just one person. Friendly and helpful staff, would stay again.

Perfect little guesthouse
My husband and I were visiting a jazz club in York and needed to stay the night. This little gem far exceeded our expectations for the value price we paid. We had a lovely friendly welcome from Lucy , she’s a delight. Our room was small but perfectly comfortable with every amenity you’d find in a high price hotel , even a little bottle of Prosecco! The room was immaculate , the bed extremely comfortable and the shower was excellent, great water pressure. Would definitely stay again if we stay over in York , few yards to the city centre, close to everything. Brilliant.
