Absolutely amazing villa. Beautiful place too. Wish we had more time there, as we all got the sickness bug and didn't get to do much!Would 100% recommend. I think we'll definitely be back.

It was just as pictured! The pool was amazing, the view was outstanding, the space inside was just perfect.Stayed here as a family of 4 with our friends so between us there were 7 of us including the 3 children! It was ideal for all of us to be together but have our own space when needed.We were able to walk to beach and get a taxi back which wasn’t expensive. Restaurants a plenty down by the beach.Carlos was just the best host, no issue went unresolved - not that we had any big issues I must say!He checked in regularly whilst allowing us to enjoy our break!

At first glance, the villa is stunning, with incredible views. Sadly, the experience went downhill fast. We were 6 adults and 4 children (3 with additional needs). At booking, Carlos promised a late check-out and told us not to worry. Weeks before arrival, he denied ever saying this—despite written proof—and accused us of making it up. We ended up paying for a hotel day pass to fill the gap, adding unnecessary stress.We arrived late evening, hunted for hidden keys, set off an alarm we weren’t warned about, then discovered cockroaches and an army of ants. The pool was overfilled because the hose had been left running; Carlos told me “don’t waste water,” so we used it to flush the broken toilet (we had to wait 4 days to get it fixed).For a 2-week booking, we expected linen changes—only to be told it would cost extra, something never mentioned before. We washed our own bedding. The pool guy removed debris promptly, but a permanent dirt ring from nearby mountain dust ruined our swimwear. The sofa was filthy with what looked like dog paw prints, the fridge still had old food, and one Friday we were asked to vacate so an estate agent could view the property.We didn’t complain once during the stay. On leaving, Carlos sent abusive messages blaming us for “wear and tear” and calling us bad people. Stunning location, shame about the host and upkeep.

Lovely villa with great space for families to enjoy Our host was superb in dealing with a couple we had upon arrival.Outdoor space is fabulous and would highly recommend this villa to anyone wanting to stay local to playa Blanca

Great Villa for a family stay. Had a couple of hiccups on arrival but Carlos resolved them straight away. The villa is very spacious and has everything you. Supermarkets and beach a short drive away. You could walk but its up hill so better with a car.Carlos was fantastic with his communication and was only a message away if we needed anything.Only negative was the kitchen wasn't the cleanest and we would have benefited from an information book.Overall though would say it was a great stay and would return!

Great holiday but read review before booking!

First impressions “wow” it’s huge and really well appointed. Pool and large gardens, 3 bathrooms, games room, 4 beds but could easily sleep 10! Open plan kitchen/diner/lounge with induction hob, dishwasher & washing machine. Large sofa, tv & amazing views over PB! On closer inspection the outside did not match up to the photos on vrbo and as time went on the wear & tear showed up. Villa clearly tired and worn, bathrooms slightly grubby, basement shower stuck on too hot and water was boiling. Water pressure too low for all 3 showers to run at the same time anyway, beds rock hard, ants in main bedroom/bed, basement windows whistle due to being ill fitted, no pool cue tips, 2 frying pans that were not induction hob compatible, zero chlorine in pool despite 2 visits from pool guy (stayed 15/20 mins both times)-green stain round rim due to years of sun cream (as explained by pool guy). Outside floor tiles cracked, decking slats loose, fake grass badly fitted. Sun loungers/chairs dirty or broken. All that said owner (Carlos) & cleaner (Sylvia) very helpful where they could be. When we arrived earlier than anticipated we didn’t have to wait till 4pm as Sylvia let us in. When there was a problem with the water supply-it was sorted asap and gift given for inconvenience. When toaster broke-new one bought immediately. Despite what sounds like a huge list of complaints none of that spoilt our holiday. There was only one issue that truly had the potential to impact our stay and that was the location. I’m glad we looked into address as soon as we were given it (once full booking fee paid) as it gave us the opportunity to hire cars. It is a serious walk down into town & an even more serious walk home again. Not sure if owners or vrbo are responsible for the pinned location on the map but it isn’t accurate to where villa actually is. Definitely need to be fit or have own car. Luckily we are/had both. This review is not meant to be negative and we hope it is taken with the intention it was written - a realistic review. As previously mentioned all the above did not spoil our holiday one bit, we just feel the villa is tired but has huge potential to be stunning.

Great space - Could be updated.

We had a lovely time at this large villa with lots of space. The property is becoming dated and we feel that a few things should really be repaired, especially the decking around the pool which we felt was slightly dangerous in places. Also, the wooden flooring in the villa is tired and coming up in 1 place.

Family Holiday

Myself, my family and their partners came to stay here in May for a week holiday. We were absolutely delighted with the location, the space in the villa and the views. The local taxi service was so quick to arrive every time and It was less than €5 to get into the town. We found that everything we needed throughout our stay was available in the villa. The host was very friendly and accommodating to our needs. Would highly recommend this Villa for a stay.

Peaceful 10 days in playa blanca

We stayed at this villa over Easter 2022. 1st impressions of the villa was wow , just how big the villa is really doesn't do the place justice at all its huge. 4 very good size double bedrooms . 2 on the main floor with a connecting ensuite. 1 double/King and 1 twin room with 2 single beds. My only observation is that the ensuite should have locks on the doors for privacy. Lots and lots of wardrobe space, more than you will ever need. Downstairs/ basement are 2 double bedrooms. Both have double beds. It does look like there is 1 double and a twin on the photos but it is 2 double. Also in the basement is a massive games room which tbe children loved 😍. The cues and table tennis equipment does need new tips and new bads but perfectly fine to use. There is also a bathroom in the basement By far and away the best point of the villa is the open plan living area and kitchen. The kitchen is amazing with absolutely everything you ould ever need on a holiday. It is to die for. The living area has a great TV and what I would say stunning views over playa blanca with a massive window being the centre peice of the villa. Internet is amazing at 300mb speed for those movie nights in and uk TV channels 1 to 5. Now the bits that could be improved. On the outside the villa does appear to need a little tlc improvement. Some of the sunbird slats are missing and need replacing. The pool is big , but needs a major clean, I reported this later in our stay. It is heated and worked fine but left our clothes and bodies stained green. Tbe owner claimed this was due to our sun cream , but having done lots of villa stays I don't really agree, it didn't spoil our stay but a deep clean of the pool or maybe chancing the chemicals would be required. Please don't let this put you off what is a beautiful villa with an owner who always responded pleasantly and professionally.

VRBO come on, do you not vet the properties you list ??? This property is not as listed, the pictures are lovely, but the outside does not look as per your pictures anymore !!! Excellent holiday home; best hosts; highly recommended

Lovely, clean, spacious home ideal for family. Very well furnished and maintained by Marta and Carlos who are just wonderful hosts. Very good swimming pool, deep enough to swim and not too deep to cause any anxiety. Great view over the bay during the day and a lovely sight of Playa Blanca by night from the elevated pool terrace. You definitely need a car as the property is perhaps a 30 min walk to the promenade, restaurants and town; another 5-10 min walk to the lovely Rubicon Marina. A great property, ideal for a family vacation in a quiet neighbourhood, everything easily accessed by car, and brilliant hosts. Highly recommended.
