Wander Camp Grand Canyon's King tent includes 1 King bed within walking proximity to shared bathrooms.

OUR TENTS
Each of our large, waterproof canvas bell tents - 216 sq. feet, 16 feet in diameter and height - include low profile windows and a large netted door with double zippers for privacy. Inside you'll see they come furnished with not only the necessary camping furniture, but luxury beds with high thread count sheets, plush down comforters, pillows and blankets. A soft rug, side tables and leather wingback chairs give it that touch of home.

We do operate completely off-grid which means no electricity is provided at camp. We provide solar lanterns in each tent for lighting, as well as solar lighted pathways throughout camp; however, you'll definitely want to make sure you take time to enjoy the darkness for star gazing outside of our tent.

OUR BATHROOMS
Our camp has COMMUNAL bathroom facilities which are shared with all guests across camp. The bathrooms are under a separate canvas bell tent (not attached to individual guest tents) and are within walking proximity on the grounds. Bathrooms include a RV flush toilet, running sink, and warm shower. Water temperature all depends on usage, as well as outdoor temperatures and may at times be cold. *Bathroom water is not consumable, but can be used for brushing teeth.Only toilet paper, hand soap and paper towels are provided in the bathrooms. Towels and any other toiletry items desired are to be provided by the guest.

We advise all guests to plan ahead and pack accordingly as this is an immersive outdoor accommodation and experience.

We chose to operate off-grid in order to uphold the rural nature of our location with the purpose of bringing our guests uninterrupted views of the most beautiful sunrises, sunsets and stars. The following items are provided in order to keep our guests both comfortable and safe.

- Eco-friendly, solar powered lighting throughout camp.
- Complimentary solar powered lantern(s) and USB charged fan(s) inside of tents.
- Guests are encouraged to provide their own USB battery operated charger for cell phones and additional charging of lanterns, as needed.

This is advertised as "glamping" which it absolutely is not, no electricity, literally showered in a porta-potty, on a 2.5 mile horrendous dirt road, if you don't have AWD, you basically can't drive down the road

Tent camping

After reading reviews we were prepared and we were not disappointed. The road is rough, try not to arrive after dark. Heaters are first come first serve, even if you reserved one. It got down to 46* and we were toasty in the bed without heater. Comfy bed. There are 3 restroom tents but only one was working. Bring a lantern or flashlight. They provide a solar light that just didn’t cut it for us. The stars are amazing. We used three dif GPS devices any they all showed something dif. First one took us all the way down Woodland Ranch Road. Great tome OF you have 4 wheel drive!!! So hopefully this helps. Once you turn on Woodland Ranch Rapd you will go apron 2.1miles, turn left on N Pleasant View. Take N Pleasant View approx 1 mile and look for small sign on left that says Wonder Camp. There is a BIG dip on N Pleasant View. The roads are rough but we saw several cars at camp so it is possible to get there in a car. Come prepared and you’ll have a great stay. I would def do it again.

high price , restrooms are far away from our tent. 2 are out of order. no lighting at night to get to the restroom. Didn't feel safe from wild animals( we didn't have food or trash inside the tent. left them all in our car as instructed) website picture is not the same in person. There's no lighting inside like it's shown.

The stillness at night with star gazing was great. Road to camp is rough and had to help another driver stuck in the Mimi Grand Canyon. Not a road for my mustang. Felt pricing high for what was offered

Amazing experience. Jeremy, the manager was awesome and helped us so much with all of our questions. The scenery was beautiful, quiet and secluded. A little cold in the evening when the heater ran our of propane but other than than, it was just about as perfect as you can imagine! Would definitely do this again!
