The room had peeling wallpaper the pillows and bed were miserable. The front desk person was rude and didn't feel welcomed. The food was gross mushy powdered eggs and boiled sausage with lukewarm coffee. Would never stay here again.

I wouldn’t bring my wife here.

To be fair, room was clean and mostly acceptable, but fabric chair was significantly stained and room showed noticeable wear. What bothered me was the indifferent check in staff, a dirty, worn elevator, a rug outside the 2nd floor elevator landing that was worn through to the backing, old, dirty interior cement walkways that looked like a Chicago subway. Very busy breakfast and only one coffee maker that was empty twice during the short time that I was there. This “name brand” hotel is privately owned and it showed. And it wasn’t inexpensive either. I was embarrassed that I made reservations for my friends. You deserve better.
