Heating was loud and inefficient. Bathroom smelled like urine. The room looks like the last remodel was decades ago, and was done by a blind contractor with two broken hands. The room had damage to a wall, and everything was generally not clean. Overall horrible waste of money, not to mention the noise from the trains and neighboring rooms.

Box damage, exposed wall.
Bathroom Floor was filthy.
Remote has tape and is broken.

Other than the staff being very friendly, this place was awful. The room was run down with broken furniture. The mattress on the bed was completely caved in on one side. The shower drain was broken. Etc. But most of all, it was very loud all hours of the night because there is no insulation between the rooms. I could hear literally everything going on around my room. Had to leave early. Worst hotel I've ever stayed at.

Hotel is on a hill with a gorgeous view of the river. Room was ok. Old furniture, tiny, old TV. No coffemaker, but free coffee and a vending machine were available in the office. Will recommend for a might or two.

The location was very convenient. There is not a lot available in Peekskill and this place was very close to where we were going. The room was well cleaned and cared for the only drawback was that the heating unit was very, very noisy.

room ok, looks like it needs renovation. LOVE the price. Breakfast immensely improved since last visit. Young man in lobby exceptionally personable and welcoming. More outlets needed in bedroom to accommodate electronics. When turning off the main light, the plug also turned off so electronics were unable to charge overnight. Main light was on the same switch as the bathroom hall light, which should be used for a nightlight.

The staff was wonderful! The room is plain and the furniture well-worn, but everything worked, the room was was clean and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel for overnight stays.

Unfortunately the second night the people in the next room were fighting all night. The clerk did her best to take care of it but had to call the police. We didn’t get ant sleep that night. It would have been nice to get a comp for one night. The best thing was the convenience of the location. The facility was a little rough- peeling paint, hole in furniture, knobs missing, no back on the remote. But the price was much cheaper than the surrounding area so we got what we paid for.
