Value in the Village

Good value for money. Bigger than many Whistler Village studios. Well equipped for the size. Fan in bathroom loud and could not turn off. Had to request extra blanket as duvet is thin and light. Swimming pool and hot tubs excellent. Weight machine broken.

This was a nice stay with friendly staff. We had a little hiccup with getting into our room when we arrived. We had 2 adjoining rooms and couldn’t get into one of them. It took 2 people to get us in, but they were both friendly and apologized. They even gave us a bag of chocolates for the inconvenience. Additionally, the bedroom blinds didn’t close all the way nor were there any drapes in the bedroom, so a good amount light filtered in from outside during the night.

The hotel is conveniently located near Whistler Village and is walkable to restaurants and shops. We stayed in room 329 which was located at the very end of the building. The suite itself was clean and bright and the washroom had one of those UV dryer which was perfect for airing out winter gear. I didn’t like the cool tone of the lighting in the dining room and bedroom as it was too bright. A nice warm tone would have been nice. In the bedroom the heater/ac was a bit loud and I couldn’t figure out how to turn it off as it was connected to the main dial in the living room. Parking was not free and was about $57 CAD for 2 nights. My family did enjoy the heated pool and 2 hot tubs available outside.

Excellent location. The one bedroom full kitchen with a washer and dryer after a day in the hills was nice. Two hottubs and outdoor pool. Warm and comfortable or just in the sauna.

Nice unit. Could use a bit more detail on the cleanliness of the unit. Also upgrade the lighting. Give a few more days of coffee and offer an alternative for sugar. Small but cozy. Wish the shower head was adjustable.

The property is located close to all amenities and the lifts. The staff is very good and requests are filled quickly. The only small issue is that parking is expensive and managed by another company.

Functional not fancy

It was a very functional room, very large. The bed was comfortable. Comfortable. Pillows were nice. Really no complaints. Not modern or fancy but totally functional. The location is fairly close to Whistler village, approximately a 5-minute walk.

The front desk service from Adam was absolutely incredible, he went above and beyond. The room was clean for the most part and the bed was comfortable. The rooms are a little outdated and could use a little love. Getting ahold of the front desk was almost impossible without going downstairs and figuring out the WiFi was complicated. When asking for new sheets we got sheets that had some prior stains on them and when asking for extra towels they never came. Noise carries very well through the windows so there were multiple times of waking up to people and vehicles. Overall our stay was nice but I will probably be looking elsewhere next year.
