There's No Elevator

The room was nice and clean, the staff was always friendly. The courtyard itself would probably be a nice place to spend some time if it were warmer. The pool seemed average, I didn't want to use it. But there is no Elevator in this hotel which I didn't know until I was going to my room. Also, the hotel seems to be in a state of repairs which you can see and sometimes hear. And quite a few guests were especially loud and distracting Saturday night.

Urine bedding

No one at front desk when arriving, waited 10min or so before someone assisted us. Luckily we weren't in any rush. Person who did assist was polite. The major issue we experienced was the bed. It was disgusting. Smelled of urine horribly. When we pulled back the blankets there was a urine stain, smelled awful. Unfortunately it was around 2am when we discovered this so we stripped the bed and spoke with the front desk about clean linens. We were given clean linens to make up the bed.. however, we were given queen items though we were situated in a king room. We chose to lay towels down and then what we could for sheets. I should've been more cautious, the first thing I noticed was hair on the hand towels. This should've been the first indication of the unsanitary room. Bed was very comfortable but pillows were not. Mini fridge smelled foul as well. Upon our arrival there were stacks of mattresses outside which was a bit off putting but quickly realized they were under renovation. The renovations did not cause any issues. The in room hot tub was nice and spacious and clean. There is parking but quickly fills up. Glass in parking lot so be wary of that.

LOVE IT!

The hotel was nice but the first floor reeked of marijuana dye to people smoking in their rooms and stuffing a towel under the door. Our room was Incredible! The bed was nice and soft beautiful accent lights,the jetted tub was amazing, and the big shower with the rain head was so nice, and the soundproof rooms were a godsend. Besides the neighbors screaming and smoking weed in their rooms it was really nice

My husband and I stayed at this property for two nights, we stayed in one of the rooms that had the hot tub in the room. Walking in there was a dirty washcloth that had pubic hairs on it in the shower. Then staff was not overly friendly. The rooms were very “cold” in that they were not at all decorated or inviting. The walls were paper thin and you could easily hear your neighbors. The furniture was older and not in the greatest condition. In the morning the hot water was intermittent. The breakfast was decent enough so no complaints there, but I don’t think we will be staying at this property during our next trip to the Chicagoland area.

Our bathroom had issues with the toilet and we tried to let the front desk know our first night there and they did not notify us of any updates with this issue. We have stayed here before but this stay wasn’t the best very disappointed

Think twice about this place

Hotel overall was in poor condition. None of the doors to access hotel were secured so anyone can walk in. Paintbuckets stacked in main floor. The room smelled of funk. Like some good bleaching cleaning and Deodorizer is necessary. Room remote did not work so had to walk all the way to other side of hotel for replacement. Would never stay here again.
