Very Kind and Helpful staff

We arrived rather late and were in a rush to get checked in before the kitchen closed. Harris the porter was very kind and helpful. It had been a bit of a stressful day, having gotten a flat tire route. I was at the end of my rope. When I parked the car and came to our room, I flopped on the bed and had apparently not secured the top fully on a bottle of coke which leaked out all over my bed. Staff was there virtually immediately to change everything including the mattress pad. I even think the kitchen stayed open a little later for us. Very kind and helpful after a stressful afternoon.

This hotel has the worst pillows in Halifax. Numerous customers had the same complaint at the front desk when I was there requesting a softer pillow. It took two day to switch out 1 pillow. This was our second time at this hotel this year with the same issue.

The staff were nice, the room was so clean and hotel is lovely. The food at Arms restaurant was delicious. Parking was expensive, $28.50/day, but convenient, as it is under the hotel. Will definitely stay again next time I visit Halifax.

First off, no one walks you to your room to answer questions. The air conditioning was so loud I had to turn it off. The coffee maker was too complicated to use. The elevator was beyond slow. The lobby was beautiful, the location was terrific, the appearance of the room was fine.
