This Westin does not live up to the Westin name. It is in serious need of an update/refresh. Beds are NOT a Westin Heavenly Bed. There is a bar with food, and a decent shop with snacks and drinks but the overall impression is shabby.

We rode the airport shuttle to the hotel and used the metro for the rest of our visit, which was only a block away. There was plenty to eat within walking distance.

I chose to stay at the Westin as a treat to myself for my birthday and I must say I was sorely disappointed. I expected a very elevated property rooms more modern definitely comfortable and calming and relaxing, but the whole hotel was like a time warp. Everything felt like I stepped into the Brady Bunch home. Very very dated furniture that looked like it was left over pieces from the thrift shop. Curtains were dirty with holes in it and they wouldn’t close completely at night. I was really looking forward to a great Westin bed which I’ve heard so much about this being my first time staying at a Westin. The pillows were not great at all. The sheets had holes in them the side table at chunks broken off of it. I just really expected a lot more from this brand. They didn’t even offer splendor or Stevia at the coffee station, and I was told that they only had sugar and sweet and low as choices for sweeteners. However, I will say that it was clean and staff at front desk were very helpful and courteous. I did take pictures of everything that I just said except for the sweeteners about my room, but had no way to post them in this review. Overall, I was very disappointed, but at least I had a place to lay my head at the end of the day just not exactly what I thought I’d be getting.
