We arrived earlier than expected by several hours, but it didn't cause any problems and we were placed in a room without any fuss. On our departure the proprietor Ian drove us to the railway station at 0515 hrs. Doing the little bit extra was a feature of the motel staff.

Get what you pay for, lovely staff though

Pretty standard fare for a motor inn - basic daggy decor, stained floors but otherwise clean and functional. On a noisy main road and a couple of kilometres from the attractions in town. The staff were so lovely and helpful, though, and it's the cheapest place in town! Can't really complain, but just wasn't exactly what we were after. Great if on a budget.

Great hotel close to town centre

Was plesantly surprised by this hotel. The rate was one of the cheapest in town. BUT the room was well appointed befitting a more expensive hotel The manager was professional and friendly

There's nothing really to fault with this place, but there's nothing really to rave about either. We stayed here one night during a 5 day long Great Ocean Road trip and found this motel to be the oldest place we stayed at. Having said that it was quite cheap in comparison with some other places in town, although perhaps because it's not the prettiest or most centrally located. All in all, if you're like us and are just stopping through and need a quiet, clean, comfortable place for the night then you'll get exactly what's to be expected if you stay here.

Friendly, Quiet and Comfortable!!!

We stayed 2 nights and would definitely stay here again! Its location is ideal and it is a nice quiet hotel for a family. The staff were very helpful and friendly! The room was very neat and clean and the beds were lovely and comfortable.

This motel was really nice

Our room was very clean, the beds comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. The breakfast we had the next morning was very good with plunger coffee. The Managers were very friendly and approachable. They came in and cleaned our room while we were out and it was spotless when we came back. Highly recommend this motel, we had a great weekend.

Fantastic value for money

From the minuteni walked into the reception area the stay became a pleasant experience. The hotel staff were just fantastic. Gave me details on some great places to eat and its was obvious my satisfaction was there main goal.room had everything we needed. Was well heated with rc aircon and electric blankets.it was well presented and clean.i am already planning to stay there again with the hole family very soon.
