A peaceful retreat, perfect for walkers and mountain bikers with ample dry storage in Ewelme, Oxfordshire - on the doorstep of beautiful national trails including the Chiltern Way, Thames Path and Ridgeway.

Mays Loft is a detached converted barn, at the edge of a larger property that is occupied by the owners.

The property is open plan with a mezzanine bedroom (with King Sized bed) that is accessed via a ladder at the guests own risk.

The ground floor has an extremely comfortable corner sofa which doubles as a King sized bed (genuinely the comfiest sofa bed you’ll ever try!). There is fully built in kitchen (with fridge, oven, gas hobs, kettle and toaster) along with a full bathroom with washer/dryer.

There is covered outdoor storage space, perfect for walking gear or bikes, with bike lock supplied.

Well behaved dogs are welcome for a small surcharge (please remember to include them in your booking). Unfortunately no other pets (including cats) are allowed.

We live nearby and share the same driveway with Mays Loft. We’ll usually be available for recommendations/help when required, but will otherwise be out of your way!

We also keep free range hens on site, so there are perfectly fresh eggs available for sale every day on site.

Please note that whilst there is WiFi, the signal can be a little temperamental. We’re located in a beautiful rural spot, so there are some limitations on connectivity!

The TV is a smart TV only, as there is no signal for terrestrial channels. Make sure you bring your Netflix and other log-in details with you!

Mays Loft is a perfect bolthole for solo travellers, couples, and (very!) small families. As a compact space, you may however find it a little cramped with 4 adult guests. We do accept these bookings, but please do consider this beforehand!
