Room was clean, comfortable and warm. Food leaves a bit to be desired in the bar, really basic and not great for price charged. Otherwise good, will return in future but would encourage a refresh in menu I’ve been coming on and off for a couple of years now and there’s been little or no change.

ONE OF WORSE HOTELS I HAVE STAYED IN FOR A LONG TIME. I STAY IN HOTELS ALL OVER TWICE A WEEK. UNHELPFUL RECEPTION STAFF. SAFE NOT WORKING NO ONE BOTHERED TO MAKE IT WORK. BATHROOM DIRTY NEEDS UPGRADING. RESTAURANT VERY EXPENSIVE. STAFF NOT VERY HELPFUL. HOTEL NEEDS A REFURB NEEDS AN UPDATE WANTED £5 FOR THE USE OF A BTH ROOM POOL VERY COLD SAVING MONEY ON HEATING IT

Breakfast was lovely, bar staff in the Lounge were very friendly. Spa could have been open a bit longer, as didn’t let you in just after 7.30pm and a double gin & tonic was £14.70, so a tad pricy. The pulled pork fries were delicious and good portion size.

Little bit tired - very comfortable
Nice comfortable room but rather tired. Executive room look into a concrete wall, marks on the carpet and carpet frays . Comfortable bed and plenty of storage . Breakfast was lovely. The man on reception was a little frosty but the female receptions where lovely .
