I stayed at the Motel 6 in Fort Pierce and was very disappointed with my experience. The room was dirty, the sink faucet was loose and not properly secured, and the door lock looked cracked and unsafe — it seemed like it could easily be broken. There was also no small refrigerator, which made my stay inconvenient. On top of that, the pool was closed the entire time, even though the posted hours said it should be open daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Overall, the property felt poorly maintained and didn’t meet basic standards for comfort or safety.

Pets were very welcome which is always a huge plus! Could use some simple maintenance repairs across the board. Amenities such as towels were scarce, no toiletries, linens were very thin but clean, tv did not work, bed side lights/chargers did not work, door was very difficult to close and not sure it secured shut, A/c worked almost too good but had a major water leak that required a bucket and frequent dumos and spills. Staff was very friendly upon arrival and accommodating with extra stay and late check out!

The front desk women was polite and helpful to my questions, check was quick and easy! Unfortunately the double bed rooms were booked but the spacious very hotel shower made up for that!

The door between the lock and hinge was broken and barely lockable. I also noticed that several of the other doors were in similar condition. In addition, the toilet was loose and shaky, possibly due to worn-out cement or improper installation. Definitely wasn’t clean, the floors looked like they haven’t been swept or mopped in a long time.

You get what you pay for & at $50 night what do you expect. Sheets dirty with burn holes, TV didn't work, there was a fridge outside my door, woke up cockroaches crawling around. It reminded me a trap hotel.The positive -Wifi worked & the room was newly remolded & the shower worked.

The counter staff was wonderful both times. As for the room, it was not clean or prepared whatsoever. Only two body towels and one hand towel, the tv didn’t work, shower curtain was peeling from wear and tear, the tub and sink didn’t even look cleaned, the hangers were super rusted, and the door knob wouldn’t even shut properly. Was woken up at to banging on my door from housekeeping at 10:16am when check out is 11am. I went to the front desk to clarify that check out was 11am which was confirmed. I asked for late check out at 12pm and was woken up again by housekeeping coming INTO our room at 11:30am. Overall experience was pretty terrible. Would not stay here again unless I had absolutely no other option.

Never Again

The keycard lock on my room didn't work. I could deadbolt it when inside, but when I left the room I couldn't leave any of my stuff because the door wouldn't latch. Walked in to find a quarter-sized spider staring at me. Floor and counters were filthy. I spilled some water and used one of the white towels to clean it up. The white towel turned black. The toilet was not securely fastened to the floor. It wobbled a lot when you sat on it. I haven't traveled much in the past 20 years. Motel 6 used to be a decent place to stay. I will never use them again. This place was trashed.
