Bad mattress cover

We stayed at the hotel because we had an early, stressful meeting. I mention this because the fact that the mattress had a noisy, plastic pee cover on the mattress and anytime there was the slightest movement, it sounded like someone was crinkling foil.

This motel is very basic. Unfortunately the shower hadn't been cleaned. There is no hair dryer. The coffee is minimal. The bed is kind of hard. It is ok if a person wants the most basic place to stay.

Hands down one of the best places I’ve stayed in awhile the breakfast they offer is to say the least the best I’ve ever been offered at a hotel only thing I didn’t like was the windows had shutter blinds and no curtains so the lights flowed in all night long

Nice Overnight Stay

We were there for an overnight stay. Upon entering the lobby it was very quiet. I was greeted by friendly hotel rep. She gave me ask the details regarding access to room, parking, breakfast hours, pool hours and checkout. Although we had to leave early in the morning, so we couldn't experience the hot breakfast offered, we had a pleasant stay. It was quiet during our stay, no outside noise, which is nice when you just want a peaceful sleep. Had a frig, microwave, safe, closet, shampoo&conditioner and soap (those were small, but we had brought our own). However, there wasn't a plastic laundry bag and the outlets by the sink were not working.

Nicholas at fron desk was extremely friendly and helpful. Great asset to this hotel. Breakfast buffet very good. Much better than other ones we had at other hotels. Grits, scrambled eggs, western omelet type eggs, fresh fruit and regular stuff. Very clean room. Only ding was room was bright at night due to our shutters not closing all the way

I booked the Jacuzzi suite. When my wife and I wanted to use the jacuzzi, we saw there was a large crack in the bottom. Also, there was no closet to hang clothes like the description stated. Other people staying there were smoking pot and cigarettes on the property, stinking up the place. I reported the issues and Nicholas was very helpful. We were moved to a lesser room and refunded the difference. The second room was worse. The room smelled very strong of mold or mildew mingled with stale cigarettes. The cabinets in the kitchen were so dirty you can write your name in the dust. The tub bottom was dirty. The floors seemed like they were never mopped. Walking around turned our feet black. There were cob webs hanging off the lighting fixtures and vents. The blinds let in a ton of light and rattled from the AC units. One of the AC units was broken and blew only hot air. The TV didn’t work. Never could get any shows on it. There were lights with burned out bulbs. The bathroom door had visible water damage. the closet in the second room had visible black mold and smelled horrible. To top it off, the WIFI, though advertised as being great, was the worst wifi I have experienced. It constantly dropped out. Vero Beach Inn and Suites should be shut down and forced to be fixed. The place is a health risk. To be fair, there were a couple good things. The staff were very friendly. The beds are comfortable. The breakfasts are better than most hotels.

The room was very clean, in fact it smell of cleaners was so strong I wasn't able to stay there. The staff was friendly and tried to help but didn't have other rooms. Hotels.com service was amazing.
