Room clean and tidy, beds comfortable. Amenities good. Staff person quite friendly and efficient. Had to do security deposit w/ credit card....I wanted to use cash but if you did that you couldn't check out until later (we're leaving at 7am to catch a flight) to be able to get it back. As a Canadian this is annoying, as my card will charge me currency conversion both on the hold and then on the release (my card has done this before, which is I always do the deposit w cash)....this is why 4 stars instead of 5.

- The AC sputtered on (the heater was on originally, for what reason I don’t know; this is Florida), and emitted the worst odor we’ve ever smelled, and had a wailing sound, like the cry of a tortured soul. - There were cryptic notes scribbled on the bathroom door, directly under the knob. I dared not read them, for what forbidden secrets could they reveal? - The shower curtain was tattered and torn, like my hopes and aspirations. - The tub was clearly in need of refinishing, as flakes of the old glaze clung for dear life and were swept away in the daily shower deluge

AVOID THIS NASTY HOTEL! My family and I wasn’t in the room for an hour when we realized it wasn’t going to work. First when we walked in there was an unpleasant smell. There was a bug on the floor by the bathroom. There were fruit flies flying around the room. There was a cigarette hole in the blanket. We tried to lay down and my family immediately became itchy. Also traveling with 2 kids who use WiFi and the WiFi wasn’t working. We went to the front and spoke to a worker named Nicholas. He mentioned they are pet friendly so we may have had a room that a pet was recently in. Either way very unacceptable. We were there for a Christmas vacation and wanted to be comfortable and that wasn’t going to happen in this hotel. Nicholas called the manager who said to reach out to Expedia to get a refund. Expedia spoke to the manger and the manager denied us a refund. This hotel is desperate for money clearly and it looks nothing like the pictures!! AVOID THIS NASTY HOTEL!
