Good but Room to Improve

Likes: The room was clean and quiet, despite being close to the highway. The staff was accommodating and generally easy to deal with. Most items in the room where in good shape. The property is close to most amenities in town. Dislikes: I was traveling with small children and was concerned that the small mini-fridge would be insufficient. I called ahead and was told that an electric cooler would be added to my room. The cooler wasn't there when I arrived. I spoke with the front desk and got a lost look. The conversation had to start from step one. To their credit, this was accommodated. We forgot a little foot stool for the kids to reach the sink the room when we checked out. This is totally my fault. It would have been nice if the hotel reached out to let us know. I realize that it wasn't worth shipping; however, it's still poor of the hotel to say nothing.

Check in was delayed past regular time, while it was a long weekend was still disappointing. Nothing in mini bar nor any complementary bottled water in room. Beds were a bit aged. But overall a decent facility for a the price

Seems like they may be under staffed and over working who they do have around. Multiple people trying to check in at 4:00 were told their room wasn’t ready yet and they had to come back. One woman with a baby was turned away without being told when her room would be done. Once in the room there was water on the bathroom floor and my kid stepped on a safety pin. The vending machine didn’t work and when we told the front desk we were met with a shrug. The restaurant on site is amazing though. Great food, great staff.

We have been coming here for over 10:years was a little disappointed this time.Gone are little samples of lotions Qtips shower caps etc..only 1 bar of soap ..nothing else. Coffee tasted awful, went down to the restaurant for breakfast,it was open but there was absolutely no one around in the dining room or kitchen..called out but nothing..so left to another restaurant off the property….not sure we will come back again..
