“Sidford Retreat” is a delightful single-storey family home in Ventnor a comfortable walk from the beach and short drive to the supermarkets, restaurants & cafés of Cowes. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
The large open plan Kitchen/Dining/Living room (with 55" smart TV & Sonos sound bar) flows out to the rear Patio and Bedroom 1, which features a 50" smart TV, WIR and ensuite (with shower, toilet & heated towel rail). A separate side hallway leads to Bedrooms 2 & 3 (each with BIR), a Bathroom (with bath & shower), a separate Toilet and a Laundry (with washing machine) that also has access to the rear yard.
Outdoor Areas
The rear covered Patio (with gas BBQ, 3 seater couch, 2 x armchairs plus some bar stools) overlooks the enclosed rear yard which features a cubby house, sand pit, swings, monkey bars, netball ring, slide, basketball ring & more! This space is perfect for children and pets (pets to remain outside) and there is also a hot/cold outdoor shower. The Garage is not for guest use, however there is space for parking up to 4 vehicles (cars and/or a boat) behind the closed gates.
Kitchen
The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Nespresso combatible pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, fridge, dishwasher, 900mm electric oven and 6-burner gas cook top. There is also a wine fridge under the island bench.
Heating/Cooling Systems
There are ceiling fans in all three Bedrooms plus two in the Living Room, wall mounted electric heating in Bedrooms 2 and 3, an electric blanket in Bedroom1, plus one additional stand-alone heater which can be used where required. There is also a fireplace in the Living Room (no wood provided).
