It was just okay

We were so excited to stay! We arrive at 3:20 for our 4:00 check-in and were told that it was a $25 fee per room ( we had more than one) so we decided to wait. Unfortunately that created an overcrowded lobby that was extremely cold because of the doors being open so much. The staff was so friendly and really trying to navigate a tough situation. Then, everyone tried to rush the front desk at 4 because there was no system on how to arrive first. Room was big; spacious and clean. One other thing is that we were never offered our sparkling wine that was listed in the description. I’m bummed. We have family nearby and would to create a space we can keep returning too but this felt like a miss.

I often stay at the Heathman Lodge and every time it's great. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The hotel is in a great location, close to many amenities and shopping and restaurants. The hotel staff is so accommodating and friendly - I got in early and they have an early check in option that was SUPER helpful. The hotel's restaurant/bar is also really yummy and lively.

Way over priced meals, I had to go buy a pizza after a 52.00 steak. Shower dripped all Night, mini fridge made buzzing and weird noises all night, The TV selections were not great, No Netflix login available, limited lighting. Batteries for remote were dead. No usb plug ins. No breakfast before 8:00 am. Coffee in the room was terrible.

The electronic chirping birds in the hallway is unnecessary. When I mentioned it to the checkout desk clerk she said I should get an electronic cat. Breakfast isn't served until 8:00 am. Alot of people including myself needed to be on the road early, so I ate at McDonalds.

Only things that could be improved is weighted shower curtain so it's not a continuous battle for it not to stick to you! Add a pillow top to the bed so it's not like sleeping on a board! Other than that it's wonderful.

Pleasant and cozy, but serve breakfast before 8am.

The hotel is nice and has a cozy feel. I enjoyed my stay, but, not serving breakfast until 8am, is a poor choice. Not starting until 8am, does not allow for anyone traveling for work to enjoy a meal before heading out for the day.

They did not allow early check in. They stated it would be 25.00 to check in twenty minutes early. There were people waiting around lobby to check in. However, then they started allowing new people arriving to check in ten minutes early and before customers who had been waiting.
