Only it's isolation from other attractions, restaurants etc. is really a disadvantage. Cazenovia NY is about 30 minutes away and is a lovely village with many attractions.

This is not just a place to get some sleep-it’s a history lesson you can sleep in! If you appreciate old architecture and the story behind it-this is the place for you! All of the usual hotel needs were available -comfortable rooms, large bathroom, comfy bed (except the pull out, but I knew what to expect…). It’s part museum, hotel and apartment building all in one! Take the guided tour if you have time-very informative! You can also tour on your own. Lovely place, interesting history!
