We were excited to stay in a little cabin. We planned on roughing it a bit since it's a cabin. The beds in cabin number 7. We're the worst. With every movement it creaked loudly. It was not comfortable. Under the bed had not been cleaned, for months I'm guessing. The room was well insulated. Shower was clean and good size. The coffee pot filter area was not clean. After 2 days of hiking Bryce, a better bed would have been nice. When we put our keys in the drop box it wasn't even locked which was weird but we're from California.

It was hard to find the phone number to call ahead for check in. Therecwas no remote to the tv and no one at the desk at 8:30 when we called. Also the room had a coffee pot, but no coffee supplies. The desk clerk when we checked in was very friendly and helpful.

The cabin was adequate for 4 adults. It wasn't a fancy upscale stay but it was close to town and had good access to the park. It was a home with kitchen and laundry machine so if you wanted to save some money, this is a good choice.

I stayed in the cabins a couple years ago. Something has changed since then and the value just wasn’t the same. The property seems to be aging - can’t quite put my finger on it. Maybe it was the coffee they seemed to have run out of and I had to go to the office a couple of times to get it. Just average at best.

Parking was fine, the only issue was that the floor was greasy and filthy. Tried to wipe it up and the rag was black. There were what looked like blood stains on the sheets. Evwn the lampshade was sideways when we got in, which shows that someone didn’t do a great job checking the place after cleaning. Doing a better job of cleaning would go a long way.

The pictures on the Expedia site were not what we found. The cabin was very cute but did not have separate rooms, it was basically a hotel room with 2 queen beds and a bathroom. The pictures showed a couch sitting area and a bedroom and kitchenette. It was good, just not what I expected.

Parking was right beside the cabin. Even though the cabin was near a main road, it was quiet and cozy. The check-in staff was warm and friendly. There are restaurants and a nice convenience store within walking distance.

The word that comes to mind is **dilapidated**. The cabin seems 40–50 years old, and much of it looks original. The smoke detector dangled from its wires, and the entry door stuck badly and was peeling despite a steel plate. The sink cabinet had no toe space—something I discovered the hard way when a toenail caught the boards. The faucet lacked an aerator, and the showerhead was encrusted with minerals. One of the AC unit’s temperature buttons had been pushed inside the housing, though you could still reach it with a pinky if you were careful. It was also loud enough to sound like a Mack truck climbing a mountain. Worst of all, we found a bug we suspect was a bed bug, and the mattresses felt as old as the cabin itself. On the plus side, it was convenient, inexpensive, and the staff was friendly—but it’s long past due for a complete refurbishment. Breakfast was good.
