We stayed at the Best Western Ruby Inn for two nights while visiting Bryce Canyon, and while the location is hard to beat, the overall experience fell short — especially for the price. Pros: • You can’t beat the proximity to the park. It’s super convenient for early morning hikes and quick returns after long days on the trail. • The on-site general store was genuinely helpful for grabbing snacks and essentials. • The grilled cheese at the restaurant was surprisingly good, and our room was adequately clean. But there were several downsides: • The beds were extremely firm, which made it difficult to rest and recover after hiking all day. Comfort really matters in a location like this. • TV didn’t work, and even if it had, the quality was poor. Not a huge deal for us, but disappointing nonetheless. • Laundry area had no change machine, which felt like a basic oversight. • Water pressure was weak, and parking lot conditions weren’t great — uneven and crowded. • While staff at the front desk were polite and tried to be helpful, it seemed clear the hotel was understaffed. • Breakfast doesn’t start early, which is frustrating when sunrise hikes are the highlight of the park experience. Overall, this place works if proximity is your top priority — and in Bryce, options are limited — but be ready to compromise on comfort and convenience. With a few upgrades, it could be much better.

The hotel was decent. The building we stayed in could use some updates. The breakfast was decent as well but if you can, stock up on supplies before you go to Bryce. The general store at the hotel is expensive.

Very busy large hotel with accommodation arranged in separate blocks. The accommodation is a little dated but perfect for visiting Bryce Canyon. Good Country Music and dinner show across the street.

Even after putting out no privacy card, staff entered the room and pulled out the sheets at 10 AM while the check out was at 11. Wait for an hour please.
