A truly traditional Japanese experience!
As soon as I arrived, I was asked to change into their slippers and relax in the lobby while enjoying a welcome drink，all while looking out over the most peaceful lake view. Later, the staff carried my luggage to the room and thoughtfully explained every detail.
The private onsen was spotless, and the view from the window was absolutely breathtaking. The public bath was serene and open until midnight. Everything was very clean, and all the amenities were of high selection.
The breakfast was fantastic! The sashimi was so fresh and delicious that even someone like me, who usually doesn’t eat raw fish, enjoyed it without any fishy taste.
The staff were incredibly kind, patient, and sweet, truly made us feel welcomed. Highly recommend this hotel if you want to experience authentic Japanese hospitality and peaceful luxury by Lake Toya.
