Location was great and rooms were nice. We had to sit in lobby for an hour after pre checking in for 3pm before room was ready. Manager was notified but we never got any feedback. Coffee cups not cleaned, no water on floor as described. Minor things but for hotel of this stature and price should not occur

I found the room cool when we arrived, so I adjusted the thermostat, but nothing happened. I called down and a maintenance man was sent up. He told me that he needed to adjust the temperature at a server, which he did. We went out for several hours and came back to a hot room. Apparently he adjusted the temperature but did not ask what temp we wanted. I adjusted the themostat again and went to sleep. Again, the thermostat did nothing and we had a VERY uncomfortable, broken sleep. In the morning I called down again and was offered several options. I had to ask to have their maintenance people readjust the temperature. That should have been the first option presented. Why have thermostats in the rooms if they do not work. Ask what a comfortable temperature is before you jack up the heat.

We enjoyed our stay and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was elegant, modern and only steps away from the Scotia Bank Arena. We stayed with our 5 month old baby and the hotel accommodated by providing a pack and play, diaper pail, and a bottle warmer. The pack and play even had a mattress topper to make it more comfortable. My only concern is they didn’t have a proper sheet for the pack and play and just tucked a regular sheet under the mattress to fit. Other than that, we had a great time away!

Room was very clean and tidy. Staff were friendly upon check-in, and again during check-out. The outside noises of the cars and whistles from the local traffic was quite loud…however considering how busy the weekend of our booking was and how close we were to Scotiabank Arena it’s understandable. Staff did a great job with an add-on that was applied to the room it was beautiful! Really made our weekend quite special.
