Okay hotel near YYZ

Nice hotel, good location to the airport but the staff need to speak up for one thing and they need to give honest answers. We asked about the airport shuttle, we were told one thing that was blatantly wrong and then another thing by another staff member. Finally we just gave up and took an Uber. And be aware that while Hotels.ca says you have breakfast included you do not unless you book through Hyatt. It will cost $12 for breakfast if booked through Hotels.ca which isn’t bad for the food but just be aware. Otherwise, nice hotel with staff who whisper.

One of the reasons for selecting this hotel was because the website indicated that the beds were memory foam mattresses....they were not. We had two rooms for two nights (staying for a nearby family funeral) and while the beds were fairly comfortable, they certainly were not memory foam mattresses. One of our rooms also did not receive housekeeping on the second day, despite our being out of the room all day. When enquiring about this at the front desk when we returned to our rooms in the evening after the funeral and wake, we were asked if we had requested housekeeping, to which we replied no, did we need to? The answer was no...? Customer service was somewhat lacking at the hotel and overall the stay was ok, but not great.

Breakfast offers healthy and enjoyable options, which I really appreciated. The place is quiet and reasonably priced. However, the staff service and attitude need improvement. I stayed for six nights, and despite repeated requests over a couple of days, my room was not cleaned even once. Essential items like body gel ran out, and towels were not replaced.

The shuttle service had me waiting over an hour at the airport. I call multiple times at the hotel, they told the shuttle would be there in 5 min. That never happened. I kept calling the hotel but they ignored my calls. I went into a cab, as my patience was over after the waiting. The hotel ending up refunding my cab fee but after this happened I just had to leave the hotel as I couldn’t enjoy this place anymore. I recommend this place, but the shuttle service as the way they sell this service is not appropriate at all.
