The staff was extremely friendly helpful and happy. The hotel was clean and well maintained. It was a 5 minute walk to the train station which was convenient. There was a nice gym, great hot tub and saunas. The lounge was great too. The room was nice.

Executive lounge over-booked at times and offering a poor quality breakfast. At check-in, the lobby staff didn't even show us to the lift let alone offer to help with our bags. For a five star hotel, expected rather better albeit this was a holiday weekend.

We stayed at Executive floor and the room was old, but clean and comfortable. Hotel staff was great, but the restaurant service was not so great. She, the restaurant manager?, seemed so annoyed when we showed up with the welcome drink coupon from Expedia. She escorted Japanese guests to the window seat and told her staff to put us in the back far away from the window even though the window seat had a plenty of open seats. And they put us on the ONLY dirty table in the restaurant. All other tables were clean. They wiped the table after we sat down. They did not even give us napkins either. Meanwhile, the manager was talking to Japanese customers on her knees and smiling. There was no annoyed facial expression. If the Welcome drink was not so welcome, why do they offer? Breakfast was the same way, we noticed that they only escorted Japanese customers to the window seats. We will never go back to the hotel again. If you are staying there, we recommend you stay out of the restaurant on the 1st floor.

This was one of, if not the, best hotel experience I’ve ever had. The staff was so kind and attentive, the spa was so relaxing. Get the Japanese breakfast in the morning, it was amazing & filling. The gardens are lovely, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, the lounges are a fun perk if you get them, there is gym access, it’s near the train station. Fantastic hotel.
