We stayed in several other cities during our travel to Japan. This was the best accommodation due to its location, clean and elegant amenities, and very helpful and friendly staff. My family felt welcome and comfortable. We would stay here again and would recommend to our friends.

Great traditional hotel, wish we could have stayed longer but it's quite pricey. Wonderful rooms with futon beds, great experience and actually we found it very comfortable. We had multiple rooms one of which was on the 6th floor which has incredible views!!! The public bath also had the same amazing views - definitely recommend and would definitely return. Also location was perfect, right in the middle of the hustle!

This ryokan was excellent-George very close to the temple and metro station in Asakusa. The staff were very helpful giving us great restaurant recommendations. The room itself was spacious – by far the most spacious we’ve had in our two week trip. We really struggled in some places – especially the business Hotel with space .The hot baths at the top of the building were excellent. I would definitely stay here again. This was our favourite accommodation.

This traditional Japanese hotel is in the center of Asakusa and near the shrine. Lots of vendors for shopping and people watching. The Japanese people are very gracious and respectful, and our hotel staff was excellent! I enjoyed experiencing the Japanese tradition of sleeping on the floor, however, it was hard on my hip joints because I am a 65-year-old female and I like to sleep on my sides. The subway system is very close by so you can travel through the city.

Charming ryokan near Sensoji. Thought it would be noisy at night but not at all. Staff warm and welcoming on our arrival and the public bath was a lovely especially after a long day of travelling from Ehime prefecture. Room cosy and welcoming. Slept so well. Plenty of places nearby for food, etc. Room was air conditioned which was a bonus.

Traditional Japanese inn located a stone throw from Senso-ji temple. Our room contained futons and floor seating in the Japanese style and was immaculately clean. Shigetsu offers single gender communal baths which provide amazing views. Staff are helpful, friendly and polite. I strongly recommend this inn. I will stay again if ever in Tokyo.

The room is clean and spacious, perfect for our group of 4 (2 adults + 2 children, age 10 and 7). The staff are friendly and helpful. The 6th floor onsen is a very nice amenity considering that you are in the middle of a bustling Tokyo neighborhood! We will definitely be staying here again. Thank you!
