Needs lots of improvments, stay across the street!

This is a very old hotel and needs to be updated to a Wyndham standards. Check in staff barely smiled or spoke while checking us in and for the price of a 1 night stay for 2 rooms $305 I should have been able to walk on the room floor w/o having black feet. Very noisy hardly slept, and the staff smoking cigarettes and weed near open rooms. Very dissapointed for the price spent

We booked ahead as "other" because we were towing our live aboard boat. When we tried to check in they told us they didn't allow boats. We had just stayed at KOA campgrounds in Lumberton, NC and Kingsland, GA with no problem. There is nothing on their website about exclusions for boats. They said that "other" did not include boats and that we should have called ahead to check if it was OK. Just a fair warning to others!

My recent stay at Days Inn was for one night. The positive parts: About 30 minutes drive to the port for a cruise. There were several nearby restaurants including an adjacent IHOP. In the room, the decor was tasteful and modern. Bedding looked clean and new. Negatives: the bathroom floor and sink was visibly dirty when I checked in, but as it was only an overnight stay, I overlooked it for the night. The continental breakfast was very limited. Little more than cereals, make your own waffles, bread, bagels, yogurt, oatmeal packets, and apples. Some eggs, sausage, or hot biscuits would have been nice. Also, the area was noisy at night with some loud drunk people hanging out in the parking lot that kept waking us. Overall, I don’t think I’ll stay here again.

Roaches in the room

The counter help was plesent and friendly, The breakfastand was good and the area was clean. Now the bad, news when we went into the room we were greated with a couple roaches. The room appeared to be clean but the bugs made it hard to get a good nights sleep
