It was surprisingly clean. I wasn't prepared for the cleanliness and "new-ness" of the room. AC blew cold which was such a relief in such a hot place. Very basic but very clean and bed was comfortable.

The room inside was very clean, bed was comfy. What we didn't like was there was no elevator to second floor and lugging heavy suitcases wasn't fun. There was no hairdryer, which I would think is standard even in the worst hotel. The other concern was that they had shampoo and conditioner in pump bottles attached to the shower wall, which was fine, but only one bar of soap which we had to pass back and forth between the restroom sink and the shower. A bit odd not to have a pump bottle of body wash as well attached to the shower wall. When we booked it said Rancho Mirage, well technically I suppose it is considered Ranch Mirage, but we are literally on the other side of the freeway in the industrial area, it took at least 15 minutes to travel into Rancho Mirage. A bit deceiving there, but the room was clean and we felt safe inside the room. McDonalds and Starbucks very close by, that was a plus. We could hear the freeway rather loudly and a dog barking late right outside the door. We would stay here again, for the price and depending on what we are doing in the area. As far as enjoying this place as a resort, no, its a place to sleep and that's it, only coffee served in the morning, nothing else. Microwave and fridge a plus for sure.

Was conveniently located just a short drive from the casino, great selection on a last second reservation (especially for the weekend). Stayed in a renovated room, super clean and comfy beds, as was the bathroom. Check in and check out were super easy. Highly recommend.

Looks good on the outside, but

Beyond basic room. No coffee maker, No hairdryer, very light bedding. Peeling paint, one car in the parking lot, which had somebody trippin’ on something when I pulled in. Don’t know where the noise came from in the middle of the night since there were no cars there. Thank goodness the refrigerator and air conditioning made so much noise that it drowned out the neighbors. First time I stayed somewhere and felt unsafe

Seeing as I was only in the room to change or sleep, this was perfect. It had all the necessary amenities. The staff was very kind and helpful. However, if you’re expecting something more luxurious, than maybe go elsewhere. Also the bed was a bit uncomfortable but it wasn’t an issue that lead to any back discomfort.
