Construction happening
They were completely renovating half the floor and didnt mention anything. Thankfully we were gone most of time But construction started at 8 am. Things like thid should be called out when booking.

We had dinner and drinks in the hotel restaurant/bar area. The food was good service adequate. MAJOR CONCERN: There was a male employee working at the bar who was obviously not feeling well. He kept laying his head on the bar he was clearly feeling sick. He should not have been working around people in that condition. Also I saw no evidence of a manager on duty.

Pleasant one night stay
I only stayed one night but I had a great experience. The check in was pleasant, both ladies were very pleasant and professional while one was training. The hotel smelled clean and fresh along with my room. I didn’t use any services but since I do visit Abilene I believe I have found my goto hotel now! Thank you!
