Extremely disappointed. This was the worst accommodation of our NZ trip. They use high-end photos to lure you in, but the actual rooms are crowded and nothing like the pictures. Most shockingly, they don't disclose extra charges for basic essentials like kitchenware and towels until AFTER check-in via an Expedia message. It feels like a total scam to keep the booking price low. Save your money and avoid the 10,000% regret, stay elsewhere

The room we had had 4 single beds. It was kind of tight for 4 adults but it worked. They were clean and comfortable. We had a kitchenette which was handy. The communal bathrooms, kitchen, and sitting area were nice, clean, and comfortable. The laundry area was nice with fairly new washers and dryers. The washers included washing soap and so we didn’t need to buy any washing soap. The lake was just across the road and it was an easy walk into town. The only downer about the place was that we couldn’t get internet in our room. We had to be in the communal areas to get it.

I stayed here to get to Routeburn Track. Check-in was quick and efficient. The cost was cheaper than other accomodation in the town, but the room was spacious, clean and calm. Common kitchen had enough facility and aplliance which made it easy and perfect to ready for the tramping. If the bath room had small shelf or something to put my toiletries, it's perfect.

Although the room was good the pictures in Expedia are definitely not the same. Some were but some were an upscale hotel right on the water. Our stay was fine we had everything we needed and town was one mile away. Overall we enjoyed our stay
