There is no one permanently at the front desk and you've got to call through a provided phone to reach out to them but he came quickly. He was nice and helpful and even gave me a chocolate box as Christmas present. However, the room was below average and the bed was not that comfortable

Great little motel in Te Anau. Super friendly proprietors who greeted me with genuine warmth. Fast WiFi. Short walk to town and the restaurants, same with the distance to the lake. Very convenient location if you are looking to explore the fjordland and/or go to Milford sound.

Like the location as close and walk-able to town. our room was on the small size but we knew this in advance yet it was clean and quiet which is a must!!! The staff was very helpful with tourist questions and helping to plan our day with additional events.
