Unfortunately it wasn’t the best experience for my partner and I. Location is perfect, everything is close by in Te Anua, but the pillows were awful, had two pillows and still needed to put my jumper underneath them. The old school bath/shower curtain spat water all over the bathroom. Toilet seat isnt designed to stay up to take a piss, and for whatever reason the sheets were itchy. staff were friendly and great!

The hotel is a 3 to 4 star style hotel which is ok with one big exception. In summer, our west facing room was uninhabitably hot until late in the evening. The hotel has no air con and our room had one window that opened only slightly. The only way we could occupy the room was to leave the door open which was most unsatisfactory.
